Thomas Partey

He was born on June 13, 1993 in Odumase Krobo (Ghana) where he grew up in a humble family with his eight brothers and sisters.

Since childhood, he has spoken Krobo (National Language) and English. Already in his childhood he showed a passion for soccer, with his friends, he played in a team of his hometown called Krobo youth. 

Leaving Krobo behind, with the aim of fighting for his passion, he moved to Ashaiman, a city near Accra, the capital of the African country, where Thomas played for a soccer team known as Revelation FC. 

As a result, Thomas Partey's name began to ring out loud in the country, attracting the attention of several sports agents. After hearing different proposals, he decided to come to Spain with two other colleagues.

Atlético de Madrid

After his landing at Barajas airport in 2011, Thomas had his first test in a friendly match of Atlético de Madrid (Juvenil B) against Getafe F.C, from this meeting, coach Javi Baños was a key piece in Thomas' career as he saw in him something special and that was what he transmitted to the club.

In 2013, Thomas with 19 years old made his debut in Atlético de Madrid B by the hand of the coach Alfredo Santaelena who from the first moment showed his confidence in the Ghanaian

The following year, Thomas made his debut in the first division with Almería CF. After that, in 2014 Thomas made his preseason in the red and white club, staying in the first team until the 2019/2020 season".

Ghana national Team

Thomas Partey made his debut with the Ghana national team on June 5, 2016, in a match against Mauritius. In January 2017, he played for Ghana in the African Cup of Nations, where his team finished fourth. On September 1, 2017 he scored his first goal with the national team in a match against the Republic of Congo

Since October 2020, Thomas is playing in  the Premier League as a midfielder  club Arsenal F.C. Thomas made his debut on October 22nd in a match against Rapid Vienna.
